April 17, 2012 the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSMSC) has issued the certificate of including into the Register of authorized agencies. Let’s remind that on April 10 the NSMSC has approved the results of the competition for the selection of authorized rating agencies.

 Commenting the decision of the Ukrainian securities market regulator, director of RA «Standard-Rating» (Ukraine) Andrey Nikitin said: «The decision of NSMSC in respect of our Agency may be called historic. For the first time, the local player with official status has appeared in the market, which is focused on the English-speaking users of rating information. Since October of 2010 the basis of our mission is: as more as possible to tell the investors about Ukraine, attractive banks and companies from that country. Therefore, the decision of NSMSC should be understood as one more logical step aimed at improving the investment climate in Ukraine and at the elimination of a significant information deficit about the Ukrainian market, which is now preserved in the EU countries and the large international financial centers».
