In the period from 16.10.2013 to 13.11.2013 the eighteen banks made its corrections into deposit programs for population. The banks reconsidered rates on all the time categories of deposits (for 3, 6 and 12 months) attracted in national and in foreign currencies. Traditionally changes were made towards increase and decrease in the cost of attracting resources. As a result, in the period from October 16, 2013 to November 13, 2013 SDR-50 in UAH has grown by 0.01-0.11 p.p., SDR in US dollars has increased by 0.06-0.07 p.p., and changes of SDR-50 in EUR had differently directed character and were in the range from -0.02 p.p. to +0.08 p.p.

It also should be noted that a rather sharp decrease of SDR-50 (in UAH, USD and EUR), noted in the period from October 16 to October 23, was explained by a considerable decrease of rates in Astra Bank (down to 1% on all the considered types of dposits) that indicate changes in the policy of attracting the resource base by the bank. Due to that RA “Standard-Rating” decided to revise the index basket of SDR-50 and to include Alfa-Bank into the banks list instead of Astra Bank.
