During the week from 27 February to 06 March of 2013 there was the most large scale change of interest rates on deposits for individuals in the last five months. In general the 18 banks changed the 74 interest rates, including 40 on deposits in UAH, 19 - in US dollars and 15 - in Euro. It seems that Ukrainian bankers liked to cut rates and a long-standing trend only intensified during the last week. From among the 9 rates of SDR-50 in USD, EUR and UAH at 3, 6 and 12 months only the SDR-50 in UAH and USD at 12 months has grown, the rest again showed synchronous decrease.
