The Bank’s rating was suspended on 31.08.2016 due to NBU information on the bank’s license withdrawal because of the detection of money laundering as a result of NBU inspections. Stakeholders of the bank repeatedly stated his disagreement with the decision of the NBU, but as of 22.03.2017 the Unified State Register of court decisions did not contain any signs that the bank's shareholders challenged the decision of the NBU.
Both rating actions are of a technical nature, because they relate to inactive ratings, which had long been suspended, and do not indicate a deterioration or improvement of the credit risk of the issuer.
