Overall, for the period from 29.07.2015 to 02.09.2015 the total number of changes in interest rates among banks included in SDR-50 – 101, including 31 – on deposits in UAH, 40 – on deposits in US dollars and 30 – on euro deposits. Deposits in the national currency in average fell by 0.17-0.21 p.p., in US dollars by 0.24-0.31 p.p., and in EUR – by 0.20-0.26 p.p. The banks less actively reduce the interest rates on deposits in the national currency than in foreign currency, and some even raise the hryvnia rates. Household deposits the national currency in July decreased by UAH 4.89 bn and amounted to UAH 175 bn, according to NBU classification, and since the beginning of 2015 the fall amounted to UAH 20,95 bn (10,7%).
