December 13, 2021 Rating agency “Standard-Rating” (Ukraine) summed up the results of its thirty fifth «Reliability rating of banking deposits». The results of the 9 months of 2021 year indicate that the Ukrainian banking system is confidently growing: banks' loan portfolios and resource base continue to increase. Thus, for the first 9 months of 2021 year clients’ funds in total on the banking system increased by 5,33%. The quality of the banks’ loan portfolios improved, including due to issuing new loans. The 34 banks from the 56 ones, which participated in the rating, demonstrated the NPL share decrease in the loan portfolio. According to the results of the 9 months of 2021, the activity of most banks remained profitable: out of 56 banks that took part in the rating, only 3 banks recorded unprofitable operations. Mostly banks with foreign capital and state-owned banks firmly established themselves in the group of rating leaders with reliable deposits.
