Despite the fact that during the last three months the rates of deposits in UAH only decline, UAH remains the most attractive currency of deposits for the population. High level of yield on deposits in national currency and low inflation tip the balance in favor of UAH when choosing the currency of deposit. As a result, banks continue to decrease the UAH rates and are forced to raise the currency rates. Last week SDR-50 on deposits in UAH for individuals were falling – by 0,04-0,05 p.p. And rates of SDR-50 on deposits in USD and EUR, on the contrary, – grew by 0,01-0,03 p.p.
