FALL OF RATES SLOWED DOWN AGAIN

Trend towards the decrease in rates on deposits for individuals continues, but faster than in the fourth quarter of 2016. The banks included into the basket SDR-50, in the period from 28/12/2016 to 29/03/2017 made about 219 changes of rates, in aggregate for the periods 3, 6 and 12 months and on currencies: hryvnia, US dollar, euro. The rates on deposits in national currency reduced by 0.58-1.15 p.p., in USD – by 0.69-1.28 p.p., and in euro – by 0.62-1.14 p.p.
