In February of current year the indicative deposit rates SDR-50 continued to demonstrate the downward trajectories of movement. For the period from 27.01.2016 to 24.02.2016 SDR-50 in national currency showed the decrease by 0.17-0.30 p.p., SDR-50 in USD reduced by 0.05-0.10 p.p., and the decrease of SDR-50 in EUR amounted to 0.25-0.27 p.p.

Within the analyzed period the fourteen banks from the fifty ones included in the basket of SDR-50 carried out the procedure of reviewing the level of interest rates in the category of hryvnia deposits. The most significant decline in deposit rates was observed in such banks: DV Bank (-3.24 p.p. on deposit of 6 months), ProCredit Bank (-3.00 p.p. on deposit of 3 months and -2.50 p.p. on deposit of 6 months), in PrivatBank and Khreschatyk Bank the yield of deposits in UAH on 3, 6 and 12 months was decreased by 2.06 p.p., 2.16 p.p. and 2.40 p.p., respectively. At the same time, the two banks increased the level of interest rates on deposits, namely: Bank Pivdennyi (+3.25 p.p. on the 3 month deposit and +3.00 p.p. on the 6 month deposit) and Prominvestbank (+3.00 p.p. on the 3 month deposit).
