In the period from August 21 to August 28 the process of changes in interest rates by banks has significantly activated, especially on deposits in US dollars and euro that, in the Agency’s opinion, is related to the recent correction of norms of obligatory reservation of funds by banks raised in foreign currency. Changes have been towards decrease as well as towards increase in rates. At the same time, according to quantitate indicator most banks have still demonstrated the decrease in cost of raising resources. The rate SDR-50 in national currency for 12 months has increased by 0.04 p.p. over a week and has amounted to 17.93%.
