Analysis of change of rates on deposits for individuals in the banks, included into SDR-50, in the period from 28/09/2016 to 28/12/2016 showed that the trend to the decrease in rates continues. In the appointed period there were 271 changes of rates that account for about 68% of the total quantity of the researched rates in total on the periods 3, 6 and 12 months and on currencies: hryvnia, US dollar and euro. At the same time, the decrease rate of rates on deposits for population in the fourth quarter of 2016, with respect to the previous quarter, noticeably decreased: thus, the rates on deposits in national currency reduced by 0.43-0.58 p.p., in US dollars — by 0.26-0.38 p.p., and in euro — by 0.24-0.28 p.p.
