From mid-September to mid-October, the dynamics of the indicative deposit rate (SDR–50) in national and foreign currencies was multidirectional, alternately demonstrating the decline, then the increase. The growth of the average cost of attracting financial resources by the banks from the population continued to be rather substantial, as indicated by the general behavior of the values ??of SDR-50 for the period from 17.09.2014 to 15.10.2014. Thus, SDR-50 in UAH increased by 0.10-0.34 p.p., SDR-50 in USD grew by 0.03-0.18 p.p., at the same time changes of SDR-50 in EUR were multidirectional and were in the range from -0.02 p.p. (on annual deposits) up to +0.12 p.p. (on three-month deposits). But it should be noted that the period from 08.10.2014 to 15.10.2014 showed simultaneous reduction of SDR-50 on all the considered types of deposits.
